Actavis has appointed Steve Thomas in the role of Generics Business Manager, Retail South as of March 2010.

The Actavis management team continues to grow, with Steve joining Actavis following the promotion of Clara Mann to National Channel Manager.

Steve has considerable experience of the retail pharmacy market, having worked in both the generic and OTC industry in his previous roles, lately as Pharmacy Sector Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim Consumer Healthcare.

Steve will now be responsible for managing the Actavis sales team in the South, managing accounts with independent pharmacy, multiple pharmacy groups and dispensing doctors.

Clara Mann has been with Actavis for 18 months as Generics Business Manager South and now moves into the National Channel Manager role, supporting Phoenix Healthcare.

Actavis is a leading player in the development, manufacture and sale of generic pharmaceuticals and currently has over 480 medicines available in the UK.
