Alimera Sciences has appointed James R. Largent to its Board of Directors.
Dan Myers, President and CEO of Alimera, stated: “It is a privilege to welcome an ophthalmic industry leader of Mr. Largent’s caliber to our Board,”
Mr Largent currently works as a consultant in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, including ophthalmic device company, Eyeonics.
“His specific industry expertise in corporate development and strategic marketing will help drive Alimera’s commercial strategy,” commented Mr Myers.
Alimera is a biopharmaceutical company that specialises in the research, development and commercialisation of prescription ophthalmic pharmaceuticals.
