New Director of Leadership at The King’s Fund

Kate Lobley, Director of Leadership at the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, is to leave her position for a similar role at The King’s Fund.

The former Director of Operations at the Healthcare Commission will start her new role on 1st December and will be responsible for progressing leadership and developmental programmes and building the Fund’s reputation.

“I am delighted to welcome Kate to The King’s Fund,” said Chief Executive, Chris Ham.

“She is joining at a crucial time – the future of the NHS rests on having the right leaders in the right place to drive improvements and inspire change. Kate’s knowledge and experience make her the ideal candidate to direct the Fund’s programme of work in developing NHS leaders of the future.”

She succeeds Liz Thiebe who is currently the acting Director of Leadership.
