Dr Stuart Dollow has joined Takeda as Managing Director for its Takeda Global Research and Development (TGRD) Centre in Europe.
He joins from Norgine to head Takeda’s wholly-owned subsidiary for pharmaceutical development based in London.
Nancy Joseph-Ridge, General Manager of Takeda’s Pharmaceutical Development Division, says Dr Dollow’s appointment will help the company realise its vision in building a “broad pipeline”.
The new MD succeeds Steve Coles, who retired from the position at the end of March after serving within the pharmaceutical industry in various clinical development and leadership positions for the past 25 years.
Dr Dollow also has more than two decades’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry. Before joining Norgine as Chief Development Officer, he worked at Roche UK and GSK in the US and UK.
